Delicious, Delicious, Delicious Every meal that I have had, no complaints. The service is very professional. Employees are very polite, they listen and are helpful in helping you to make a decision about your meal when needed. I personally love getting food from there and will be very happy when I can return to eating inside . The place is clean.
Good Chinese food with great lunch and dinner deals! I love the orange chicken. Sushi is also pretty good from what I have tried
For Christmas Eve I ordered a lot of food from Paul Chen's for 10 people, many of whom, had specific requests. It arrived on time; hot; and exactly as ordered...with a few orders of crab wontons thrown in as a bonus. Monica, who took my order, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was great; all of it; not a clinker in the bunch. Thanks, Paul Chen's.
I am extremely picky when it comes to "Americanized" Chinese food restaurants but I gave this place a try because my boyfriend really wanted Chinese food--super glad I did! We got Mongolian beef, vegetable lo mein, teriyaki chicken on a stick, and crab wontons. The teriyaki chicken had lots of flavor and was SOO juicy with the perfect amount of crispiness on the edges. Definitely an underrated appetizer but I highly recommend especially if you've never had chicken on a stick. The veggie lo mein--bomb! A good amount of fresh veggies (broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, onions) and the perfect amount of sweet & salty. Hands down the best lo mein dish I have had for to-go Chinese food in this area...I usually find it to be quite bland. The crab rangoon was also great which seems silly to mention but there are definitely some Chinese food places that don't have the crab rangoon right and Paul Chen's is not one of them. The only slightly negative comment I have is that the Mongolian beef lacked a little flavor in comparison to other Mongolian beef dishes I have had (usually a little spicy with a hint of sweet)...but this dish still tasted very fresh and had good cuts of meat with lots of sauce and grilled onions. Most importantly: we felt that this food ranked higher than pretty much all other Chinese food carry-out places in bmore solely because it tasted fresh and didn't have that "overly-salty-MSG-fake-flavoring" to it all and we didn't feel gross after eating it (lol). ANDD we even picked up our food 15 minutes before closing and it still was that good! Also the woman at the register was so sweet and friendly despite us ordering food close to the time they closed :)
